Russell is a litigation specialist for Levine & Blit’s New York office, and is also the firm’s exclusive litigation attorney for its Florida practice.
With a diverse professional and educational background, Russell has years of professional experience in business and the financial markets, and has achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, an M.B.A in Finance, and a Juris Doctorate with a focus on litigation and human rights. Russell has also achieved half of the required credits towards a second master’s degree at Columbia University.
During and subsequent to law school, Russell has completed internships with the human rights organization, Media Monitoring Project, in Johannesburg, South Africa, and also with Amnesty International, where he focused on research and writing to combat discrimination of protected classes.
Since joining the firm over a decade ago, Russell has focused his practice on litigating the civil and human rights laws affecting employment, and has also litigated various other matters including wage and hour disputes, business disputes, breach of contract disputes, and matters involving consumer fraud, among many other matters.
To date, Russell has secured millions of dollars in damages and settlements as lead attorney for hundreds of Levine & Blit’s clients, and has also helped secure significant verdicts and judgments as part of Levine & Blit’s lead trial team. Russell regularly litigates against the largest companies in the country and throughout the world, including the largest tech, finance, entertainment, and consumer products companies.
